Cookie Policy

Version: 24 September 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored in your browser that allow a website to remember certain information. Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. This policy describes what GuitarService.gr stores and which external services may use their own cookies.

2. What this website uses

GuitarService.gr does not use analytics, advertising or visitor-tracking cookies. What the website itself stores serves only account sign-in, sign-in security and one choice you make inside your account. The website’s language is decided by the page address (English pages start with /en, for example), not by a cookie.

3. Sign-in and security cookies - Auth.js

When you sign in to your account, Auth.js uses cookies to keep you signed in and protect the sign-in process. The session cookie may last up to 30 days. Short-lived security cookies are also used during sign-in. Their exact names may vary depending on technical settings and your browser. Sign-in cookies are not set merely because you visit the website.

4. Local storage - welcome message

When you close the welcome message in your account, the website saves a marker in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), tied to your account’s internal identifier, so that you do not see it again. The marker is never sent to our server, does not expire on its own and is removed when you clear this website’s data in your browser.

5. Location map

The map in the website footer is an image hosted on our own server, using map data from OpenStreetMap. Viewing it does not connect your browser to Google or any other provider and sets no cookies. If you click the map or our address, our location opens in Google Maps, where Google’s own policies apply.

6. Stripe payments

When you choose to pay for an Online Estimate, you are redirected to a payment page hosted by Stripe. On its own website, Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies to process payments, keep transactions secure, prevent fraud and for other purposes, subject to its own Cookie Policy and the choices it offers. Cookies set by Stripe on its payment page are not cookies set by GuitarService.gr during ordinary browsing of our website.

8. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies and local storage data through your browser settings. If you block necessary sign-in cookies, signing in or remaining signed in may not work correctly. External services may offer additional settings and choices under their own policies.
